What level are you?
For Beginners:
Most beginners come to class with the only hopes of standing
up and stopping.
To have the necessary tools to enjoy skating in a controlled
environment at the beach or
around your neighborhood you
need more than standing up and stopping.
Beginners
need to stop, stride, turn, deal with sidewalks, driveways,
obstacles, small hills and traffic.
4 pass class recommended for beginners
to gain the minimal of skills.
For Intermediate:
For those that are comfortable on
skates but would like more than the basic of skills.
Learn how to stride faster and more
efficiently, stop various ways, crossover in turns, backwards,
jumping small objects like cracks, curbs and train tracks
as well as being able to deal with reality settings like streets
and hills.
Anticipate 1 to 2 skills
per 2 hour class for intermediate skills.
For Advanced:
At this level you begin or
brush up on a specific type of skating like freeskating, speed,
jamskating, stunts, Roller Derby or hockey!
For these you'll need customized private lessons or skill
specific classes which can be arranged for small groups.
